The cost per person is £1,200 for a single room and £900 per person sharing a double room: the cost does not include flights*.

The actual cost of the trip is at least £350 more per person than what you are charged by Yachad. Yachad uses its charitable funds to subsidise each place to make it more affordable for more people to come on the trip. If you can pay part or all of this subsidy, it will reduce the amount of money that we have to fundraise to subsidise the trip.

The cost of the trip will cover:

  • Four nights in the Leonardo Boutique hotel in central Jerusalem
  • All lunches and dinners
  • All costs associated with the stay – transport, itinerary etc
  • Drop off at Ben Gurion airport at the end of the trip

It does not include:

  • Flights to/from Israel
  • Transport to and from airports in the UK and transfer from Ben Gurion airport to Jerusalem on arrival
  • Travel insurance  – the current requirements in Israel are that you must have valid travel insurance that includes Covid-19 cover
  • Any Covid19 test requirements

*Flights to/from Israel – participants are responsible for booking their own flights to and from Israel which gives individuals the flexibility to choose their preferred flight and airline, as well as the opportunity to extend their stay. We ask that all participants book flights that allow them to be in Jerusalem to start the trip by 7pm on Sunday 11th June or Sunday 19th November, and leave no earlier than 5pm on Thursday 15th June or Thursday 23rd November.

Past trips

Yachad trip to Israel-Palestine 2022

In November 2022 we took our first non-student post-Covid delegation to Israel and the West Bank. We visited Hebron with Ori Givati from Breaking the Silence, as well as visiting the Ofer military court and joining Daniel Seidemann on a tour of East Jerusalem. The trip also included a visit to Damascus Gate with the NGO Ir Amim.

Our trip participants held meetings with the UK ambassador to Israel Neil Wigan, the chief IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Richard Hecht, the Israel Foreign Ministry, and deputy editor of Haaretz Noa Landau. Our delegation also met Breaking the Silence co-founder Yehuda Shaul, the spokesperson for the Gush Etsion settlement bloc Josh Hasten, and the director of the Alliance for Israel’s Future Mikhael Manekin.
